What happens when you call

  1. We listen

Tell us what happened and where things stand. No cost, and no obligation to hire us.

  2. We tell you where you stand

An honest read on your situation and the deadlines that apply — including if you don't need a lawyer at all.

  3. You decide

If we take the case, we deal with the insurer, the paperwork and the hearings.

Common questions

What does the first consultation cost?

Nothing. The initial consultation is free and carries no obligation to hire the firm.

Do I have to sue my employer?

No. Workers' compensation is an insurance system, not a lawsuit against your employer. The dispute is with the insurance carrier.

My claim was denied. Is that the end of it?

No. A denial can be challenged, and there is a process for doing so — but it runs on deadlines. The sooner you call, the more options remain open.

How long do I have to act?

New Hampshire law sets specific time limits, and they differ depending on the type of claim. Call and we will tell you which apply to your situation.

For the client to confirm: the fee arrangement, so it can be described accurately (NH workers' compensation fees are set by statute and approved by the Department of Labor, so this wording should be the firm's own).

Talk to a lawyer before you sign anything.

The first conversation is free, and it is often the one that matters most.
